Many clients ask if a will from abroad will be valid in Panama. The answer is YES, as long it fulfills the requirements established by Panamanian law.

In general, every testament must identify those who will inherit the deceased’s assets, or how these assets should be used or distributed. Once the person passes away, instructions found in the will must be confirmed in a probate process.
